Volamu has implemented a Quality Management System (QMS), which reaches out to every function of the organisation, in a responsible manner & maintaining customer requirements & specifications. As a result, there are standard operating procedures & relevant work instructions, for all the processes & activities that have been identified as necessary for the QMS.

The Volamu QMS is based on the ISO 9001 standard, aiming to achieve the following by implementation & monitoring of its QMS:

  • Customer’s quality requirements;
  • Applicable regulatory requirements;
  • Enhancement of customer satisfaction; and
  • Continual improvement of the QMS & achievement of the internal QMS objectives.
